Cajun Comfort

Our CD

During the end of August 2006 we recorded our first CD. The recording sessions took one and a half day in the "Swamp Muziek Studio" in Raamsdonksveer, the Netherlands. Here are some of the results.

The first number is a very old waltz image Madame Atchen [11]. It was recorded by Amédé Ardoin in 1929. It is also known under the name "La Robe Barée". It is a very powerfull waltz, and we play it as an instrumental.

The next number is a two-step, image Talles d'Éronces [03].

The last number is also a very old waltz image Ma Blonde est Partie [04]. It was first recorded by Amédée Breaux in 1929. Later it became known under the name "Jolie Blonde". We play it in the original version. Amédée Breaux is a less known accordion player, but for me he was one of the best.
